durand jones & the Indications - america love call

Durand Jones & The Indications are back with their sophomore album “America love call” in a limited Orange translucent edition!

What a start of the year for Colemine Records! After a brilliant Rocksteady release with Jr Thomas & The Vulcanos, they have now delighted Soul music lovers with Durand Jones and the Indications releasing their sophomore album “America love call” on the Midwest soul label.
Few bands can boast of having two such talented singers as Durand Jones and the drummer Aaron Frazer. The latter, who sang only in Is it any wonder? in the first album, is now adding his precious falsetto voice in half of the songs like in Too many tears (which reminds me of Mayer Hawthorne). The contrast of both voices along with sweet harmonies and top-notch musicians create an instant classic soul album with songs such as (Circles, Walk Away, Don’t you know).
Let’s hope Colemine Records won’t stop here and we’ll hear soon about new long length projects by Monophonics and/or Ikebe Shakedown!
Apart from the classic black wax version, they’ve done a limited orange translucent version that includes poster / lyric sheet and download card.

Where to buy it: Translucent Orange version: Colemine Official
